Job Description
Are you a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys solving problems on the job? As a Structural Technician , you'll use your expertise to support solar installations by performing repairs and upgrades that ensure safety, durability, and a polished finish. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same-you'll tackle everything from framing improvements to leak repairs while working as part of a team that's bringing clean energy to communities. What You'll Do Assess project sites, take accurate measurements, and prepare for installation needs. Make structural improvements such as framing and sistering rafters. Diagnose and repair roof leaks quickly and effectively. Perform home repairs related to solar installs, including siding and drywall work. Provide professional, courteous communication to customers while on-site. Document all work thoroughly with photos and details, submitting reports on time. Keep a clean, organized jobsite and uphold company vehicle standards. Assist with additional construction-related tasks as needed. What We're Looking For Solid foundation in carpentry and roofing, with experience using standard tools. Willingness to take on a variety of construction and maintenance tasks. Comfortable working at heights and on roofs for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and carry 40-50 lbs regularly. Dependable with a strong attendance record. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and MVR check.
