Job Overview:

Sentri Homes is seeking an experienced siding subcontractor for a partial exterior siding replacement in Skaneateles, NY 13152. This is a single-elevation job (left/gable-facing side of a 1950s single-story home) involving tear-off of existing deteriorated siding and installation of new vertical vinyl board-and-batten siding.

Approximate scope:

345 sq ft of siding on one wall.

Duties:

Remove and dispose of existing deteriorated composite siding from the specified elevation Inspect exposed wall sheathing for rot, moisture damage, or structural issues; report any findings before proceeding with repairs Install house wrap/weather-resistant barrier as needed Install vertical vinyl board-and-batten siding (Georgia-Pacific 7 in profile or approved equivalent), approximately 345 sq ft Install all required trim: J-channel (window/door openings and bottom of wall), outside corner posts. Frame around two existing window openings (46 in x 34 in each) with proper trim and flashing Ensure proper fastening technique per manufacturer spec (center-slot nailing, allowing for material expansion) Seal all penetrations and complete final cleanup of the work area (broom-clean site, haul away debris)

Requirements:

Proven experience with vinyl siding installation, board-and-batten profile preferred Own tools and transportation Ability to work at height (ladder work on a gable-end wall) References/past work examples requested
