In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality roofing installations, repairs, and replacements on residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will help ensure that each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about roofing and construction who thrive in outdoor work environments and enjoy hands-on craftsmanship. Responsibilities Perform complete roof tear-offs, removing old roofing materials safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols. Install new roofing systems, including asphalt shingles, metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and other materials as specified in project plans. Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to accurately execute roofing layouts and specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding safely to carry out roofing tasks with precision. Conduct roof inspections during and after installation to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety regulations. Assist with siding installation, stucco application, drywall finishing, caulking, and other exterior or interior remodeling tasks as needed. Follow all construction safety harnesses procedures, ladder use guidelines, and workplace safety regulations to maintain a safe job site at all times. Skills Extensive construction experience with a focus on roofing installation, repair, and rebuild projects. Proficiency in handling hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and fabrication techniques. Knowledge of various roofing materials including metal roofing, single-ply membranes, asphalt shingles, and tile laying. Ability to interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and technical specifications accurately. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and understanding of construction workplace safety regulations. Experience with siding installation, metal stud framing, drywall finishing, caulking, stucco application, concrete forming, and remodeling is a plus. Strong outdoor work experience with the ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely. Knowledge of construction safety harnesses use, ladder safety practices, and adherence to OSHA or local safety standards. Handyman skills such as tile laying or general repair work are advantageous for versatile project support.
