Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on commercial buildings. Your expertise will ensure that roofing projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain a variety of roofing systems including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and other commercial roofing materials. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute project specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively to complete roofing tasks. Conduct roof inspections to identify issues such as leaks or damage and perform necessary repairs or restoration work. Adhere strictly to construction safety regulations, including the proper use of safety harnesses, ladders, and other personal protective equipment. Assist with siding installation, drywall work, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry tasks, tile laying, and framing as needed on multi-faceted projects. Lift heavy materials safely during installation or repair processes while following proper heavy lifting techniques. Read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings accurately to ensure precise execution of work. Maintain a clean and organized work site in compliance with safety protocols and workplace regulations. Skills Strong knowledge of roofing installation techniques including metal roofing and single-ply membrane systems. Perform tear-offs, installations, repairs, flashing, waterproofing, and related roofing work. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and fabrication equipment safely. Familiarity with construction safety harnesses, ladder use protocols, and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) safety standards. Practical experience in outdoor construction environments with a focus on roofing repair and installation projects. Capable of heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards during material handling. Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations to ensure compliance at all times. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, climbing, bending, and working at heights Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers Ability to safely perform the essential duties of the position Ability to work on military bases and government projects

MILITARY BASE WORK REQUIREMENTS

Because this position may require working on military bases, applicants must be able to: Have a valid government-issued photo ID that meets the requirements for base access Provide the required documentation to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States Be able to obtain the required base access pass or credentials before beginning work on the base Successfully complete any background screening required by the specific military base or project Follow all military base rules and security requirements while working on the base
