Duties Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems using a variety of materials and techniques Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely and efficiently on construction sites Perform roofing-related tasks such as caulking, flashing installation, and membrane application Conduct site inspections to assess project progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards Assist with construction estimating by measuring materials and preparing project scopes Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high quality standards Engage in restoration work including masonry, stucco repairs, or metal stud framing as needed Lift heavy materials safely and efficiently while following proper ergonomics protocols Read schematics and technical documents to support fabrication, carpentry, or plumbing tasks related to roofing projects Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques Experience in roofing installation, repair, and restoration processes Familiarity with construction site safety practices and OSHA regulations Ability to perform concrete forming, framing carpentry, tile laying, masonry work or remodeling tasks as required Skilled in caulking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, plumbing or welding related to roofing systems Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read technical schematics and fabrication instructions Handyman experience or general construction background is highly valued Capable of working at heights safely while maintaining focus on quality workmanship We're looking for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in commercial roofing.
