Qualifications & Experience:

At least 1 year working as a paraprofessional, instructional assistant, or in a similar school/special education environment Must meet one of Pennsylvanias paraprofessional credentialing requirements (48+ college credits, Associates degree or higher, or passing a qualifying local/state assessment) Willingness to obtain required certifications within 60 days of hire if not already held Reliable transportation and ability to commute within 3035 minutes of assignment sites in Lehigh County Comfortable supporting students who may display challenging behaviors and/or require personal care, including feeding, toileting, and lifting

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct instructional and behavioral support to students within assigned classrooms Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other educational professionals to implement individualized educational plans Assist with daily living activities and reinforce learning goals Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment for all learners
