General Site Crew - Costa Mesa CA Job Description This entry-level role offers a hands-on introduction to the construction industry, supporting tenant improvement work during large-scale apartment remodels across the Inland Empire and Orange County. You will assist skilled trades professionals, learn construction techniques on the job, and contribute to the successful refurbishment of multi-unit residential properties. Responsibilities Support tenant improvement work during large-scale apartment remodels at various residential properties. Perform general labor tasks such as moving materials, site cleanup, and basic construction support activities. Assist with construction activities related to pavers, concrete, and artificial turf under the guidance of experienced crew members, when needed. Travel between multiple job sites as assigned, using personal transportation when required. Safely lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the workday. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining productivity and safety standards. Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced tradespeople to learn and apply construction methods and best practices. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with site safety requirements. Arrive on time and ready to work, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Communicate clearly with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient completion of daily assignments. Reliable transportation to travel to multiple job sites as needed. Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Costa Mesa, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
