Overview:

Delta Homes is an Austin-based small business focusing on maintenance and renovation of investment properties. We are responsible for maintenance & make-ready work for ~1,000 single family homes throughout the Austin metro area. We are seeking an experienced roofer to join our team. This is a full-time position with competitive pay, benefits and a company provided tools & vehicle. The ideal candidate has experience in evaluating the condition of roofs, completing minor repairs, and supervising larger crews for full replacements. You'll start and end your day at home, taking your company vehicle home each night. We have a shop in South Austin where you'll visit occasionally for team meetings, to pick up/drop-off shared equipment, or load up with supplies. Steady, year-around work!

Responsibilities:

1. Visit 4-7 properties per day to assess the condition of the roof and building envelope 2. Complete minor repairs while on site - sealing fasteners, replaced damaged boots and flashing, replace torn/damaged shingles, clean out gutters, cut tree limbs back from roof 3. Document roof and building condition with photos from a variety of angles 4. Gather necessary information while on site for estimates for larger repairs 5. Visit active roof replacement projects to inspect workmanship and ensure work is being completed to Delta Homes standards

Job Requirements:

At least 3-5 years of professional experience in roofing Able to diagnose common roofing problems and complete minor repairs independently Comfortable safely accessing, walking and working on 1- and 2-story shingle roofs up to an 8:12 pitch Driver's license with no DUIs in the last 5 years Driver's license with no DUIs in the last 5 years Ability to use phone apps to receive and update work orders Live in the Greater Austin metropolitan area
