$38/hr + benefits Tiello is partnered with a growing commercial roofing contractor in their current search for an experienced Lead Commercial Roofing Technician to oversee commercial roof inspections, repairs, maintenance, and preventative maintenance services. This position is ideal for a self-motivated roofing professional who can work independently, communicate effectively with customers, and take ownership of projects from initial inspection through completion. The Lead Commercial Roofing Technician will serve as a key liaison between customers and the production team, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. Key Responsibilities Inspect commercial roofing systems and identify deficiencies, damage, and potential issues. Recommend appropriate corrective measures and repair solutions. Troubleshoot and complete commercial roof repairs and maintenance on customer properties. Perform routine and preventative roof maintenance to extend system life and minimize future issues. Work independently with little or no supervision while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Serve as the primary liaison between the customer and the technical aspects of the job. Coordinate, track, and maintain materials, supplies, equipment, and labor hours in accordance with project requirements and budgets. Maintain accurate and timely project documentation, reports, photos, and service records. Ensure project deadlines, quality standards, and cost targets are met. Identify potential project risks and proactively address and mitigate issues. Support the Production Lead with field operations and project execution. Communicate project status, findings, and recommendations clearly to customers and internal teams. Promote a positive customer experience and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Follow all company safety policies and industry best practices. Required Qualifications Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as required. Ability to safely climb ladders and access commercial roofing systems. Hands-on experience performing commercial roof repairs, maintenance, and inspections. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Results-driven, ambitious, and self-motivated. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel. Ability to work independently while effectively communicating with customers and team members. Preferred Qualifications Advanced knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and repair methods. Strong understanding of commercial construction practices. Previous experience in commercial roofing, construction, or a related industry. Experience coordinating materials, labor, and project documentation.
