Permanent Employment Help for . Installs, repairs, and replaces roofs of residential and commercial buildings using materials like shingles, metal, bitumen, and single-ply membranes, performing tasks such as inspections, tear-offs, waterproofing, and precise material installation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect roofs to determine repair or replacement needs.
Measure roof dimensions to estimate materials and labor.
Remove old roofing materials (shingles, membranes, flashing).
Install underlayment, vapor barriers, insulation, and roof decking.
Apply roofing materials such as asphalt shingles, slate, metal panels, TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen. Waterproof roof penetrations (vents, chimneys) and seal joints.
Set up ladders and scaffolding for safe access.
Clean work areas and maintain tools/equipment. Must have own basic tools (drill, tool belt, paint brushes, etc.). Prior experience required at least ten years. Age 18 years up due to hazardous environment.
Must have Valid Class C Drivers License and be able to pass criminal background due to certain projects needing security clearance. Must pass Drug test. Pay starts at $16.00-$20.00 per hour plus depends on experience
