Company Overview Wealthy Construction LLC is a Houston-based construction company that specializes in commercial and residential roofing projects. We currently hold projects in Texas, Missouri, and New York and look forward to expanding in other states. Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Roofing Helper and be a vital part of delivering high-quality roofing projects! In this role, you will assist skilled roofers in installing, repairing, and maintaining various commercial and residential roofing systems. Your enthusiasm and commitment to safety will help ensure efficient job site operations and successful project completion. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in roofing, siding installation, metal roofing, and other exterior building trades. This role is for projects in and around the Corpus Christi, Texas area. Speaking English is required for this role, but knowing Spanish as well is a plus. Duties Assist roofers with the installation, repair, tear-offs, and maintenance of roofing systems including single-ply membrane roofing and metal roofing. Handle hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to support roofing tasks. Prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and safety harnesses in accordance with construction safety regulations. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to aid in accurate installation and repairs. Support the installation of siding, stucco, trim carpentry, tile laying, masonry, and framing work as needed for exterior projects. Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, concrete forms, or other supplies while adhering to safety protocol guidelines. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for everyone on site. Assist with restoration projects involving caulking, drywall finishing, or masonry work to ensure quality craftsmanship. Support the interpretation of schematics and technical drawings for complex roofing or remodeling tasks. Maintain a clean work area by organizing tools and materials efficiently throughout the project duration. Experience Prior roofing experience is preferred but not required. Familiarity with roofing estimating processes and blueprint reading is a plus. Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions enhances your suitability for this role. Knowledge of construction safety harnesses, ladder use, heavy lifting techniques, and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations is advantageous. Hands-on experience with roofing repair—including single-ply membrane systems, shingles, and metal roofing installation is desirable. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings or schematics supports successful project execution. Schedule Monday - Saturday 8 to 10-hour shifts (hours vary depending on the project)
