Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Metal Stud Framer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing the interior and exterior framing of buildings using metal studs, ensuring precise measurements, proper installation, and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial to residential structures, contributing to the creation of durable and high-quality buildings. Your expertise in metal framing, blueprint reading, and construction techniques will be vital in delivering projects on time and to specification. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install metal studs and framing components according to blueprints and schematics Interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical plans to ensure accurate framing layouts Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for framing tasks Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other trades to coordinate installation processes Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for framing large structures Ensure all framing work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards Assist with related tasks such as rebar installation, drywall installation, or siding as needed to support project completion Qualifications Proven experience in metal building erection, frame carpentry, or related construction roles Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation relevant to framing projects Familiarity with construction management practices and site safety protocols Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently Experience with masonry, roofing, stucco, siding, or restoration projects is a plus Strong attention to detail with excellent teamwork and communication skills Join our team if you're passionate about construction and eager to build high-quality structures!
