TRAVELING SHEET METAL & DUCTWORK INSTALLER

Accurate Heating & Air, LLC is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal and Ductwork Installer for commercial HVAC projects. This position requires frequent travel and overnight stays depending on the project location and schedule.

Pay Range:

$25.00-$35.00 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated skill level

Travel:

Company-paid lodging and travel expenses/per diem, according to company policy

Job Responsibilities:

Install commercial sheet metal ductwork according to plans and specifications Lay out, assemble, hang, connect, seal, and insulate duct systems Install supply and return ductwork, fittings, dampers, grilles, registers, and related components Measure and modify sheet metal ductwork and fittings as required in the field Read and understand mechanical plans, blueprints, and job specifications Properly install duct supports, hangers, transitions, and equipment connections Coordinate work with project managers, general contractors, and other trades Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Protect customer property and completed work Complete assigned work accurately and within project deadlines Follow all OSHA requirements and company safety procedures Submit jobsite photos and daily progress updates when requested Properly care for company vehicles, tools, and equipment

Required Qualifications:

Previous sheet metal or commercial ductwork installation experience Ability to travel and remain out of town for multiple days when required Valid driver's license Clean driving record that meets company insurance requirements Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening Ability to pass a criminal background check Reliable transportation to the designated shop or meeting location Ability to read a tape measure and use common sheet metal and construction tools Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and work in attics, ceilings, rooftops, and other construction environments Dependable attendance and ability to report to work on time Professional attitude and ability to work well with a crew Must be legally authorized to work in the

United States Preferred Qualifications:

Experience installing commercial HVAC duct systems Ability to read mechanical drawings and perform duct layout Experience with spiral duct, rectangular duct, flex duct, and associated fittings OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Ability to operate lifts and other jobsite equipment Experience leading or supervising an installation crew

Work Schedule:

Work hours will vary based on project schedules, travel requirements, and deadlines. Some early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight travel may be required. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the company's pre-employment screening requirements.
