K Welding Inspector Responsibilities & Qualifications:

ASWS CWI

certification required. Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols for welding operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory and safety standards. Conduct regular audits and inspections of welding processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality-related issues, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to evaluate and improve welding techniques, materialsdf, and equipment. Train and mentor staff on quality standards and best practices in welding. Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting performance metrics and areas of concern. Knowledge of welding codes and standards such as AWS, ASME, and ISO. Proven track record of implementing quality improvement initiatives. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Certification as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or similar.
