Sheet Metal Duct Fabricating. The ideal candidate has completed a training program through an industry apprenticeship or has at least 5 years of manufacturing experience in a machine shop performing Automotive Sheet Metal Fabricating. Knowledge/Experience in Welding (MIG & TIG) is a Big Plus, but Not Required.
Required Skills:
Minimum 5-Years' experience in metal working in a Machine Shop Read and interpret simple and complex engineering prints accurately Must be able to read Calipers, Micrometers and other various measuring equipment Must have extensive experience using Press Breaks, Hydraulic and Mechanical Presses, and other metal forming and stamping equipment Strong understanding of Basic Shop Math/Arithmetic Experience deburring parts with deburring tools, grinders, etc. High level of organizational skills and self discipline Supervisor/Leadership experience Computer Proficiency Good People Skills Ability to Attend, Communicate and Contribute to Leader/Team Meetings Desire to continually learn and develop technical skills Strong mechanical skill and aptitude Quality and accuracy focused Must have own tools
