IS A SHOP

POSITION, Not a sheet metal installer. You will be working with shop foreman to mainly build square duct and roofcurbs to become a vital contributor to the fabrication and installation of high-quality sheet metal components for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Duties Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications related to sheet metal fabrication for HVAC systems Operate various machinery including CNC laser cutters, press brakes, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, plasma cutters, stamping presses, and forming machines to shape and assemble sheet metal components Set up machining tools and equipment accurately according to project requirements using precision measurement instruments such as micrometers and calipers Perform welding and mechanical assembly of sheet metal parts ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication process using shop math and measurement tools to verify dimensions and tolerances Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety standards in production, handling tools properly, and adhering to safety protocol guidelines Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot machining issues or blueprint ambiguities promptly to meet project deadlines Requirements Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as CNC laser cutting systems, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, plasma cutting tools, press brakes, stamping presses, or forming machines Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately Proficiency in shop math, basic math skills, and measurement techniques for quality control purposes Skilled in welding techniques and sheet metal fabrication processes including forming and assembly of HVAC components Familiarity with safety standards in production environments and the ability to follow safety protocols diligently Experience with tooling setup, machine operation, precision measurement instruments like micrometers or calipers, and quality inspection methods Ability to work effectively with hand tools and tooling equipment used in sheet metal fabrication Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM), CNC programming or operation is a plus but not mandatory Mechanical aptitude combined with good communication skills to collaborate efficiently within a team environment Join us in delivering exceptional HVAC solutions through expert craftsmanship! Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
