Sheet Metal Fabricator:

Read and interpret basic CAD drawings and manufacturing instructions for custom ductwork assemblies. Select, measure, and cut sheet metal using shop tools to precise specifications. Prepare and clean metal components by deburring, grinding, and sanding for downstream processes. Assemble and align sheet metal segments and damper components using hand tools and fixtures. Perform basic tack-welding to secure sub-assemblies for specialized welders. Conduct quality inspections using measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy and tolerance.

Your skills and experience:

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/32 inch. Willingness to operate a forklift after training. Commitment to safety and quality standards. Basic understanding of welding with a desire to learn more. Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and assist in various shop areas as needed.
