Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of solar energy, battery back, stand by generators and complete their related labor activities on residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and safety protocols. This position requires a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction while contributing to the growth of renewable energy. Duties Install solar panels and associated equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted systems. Install and commission battery systems. (Enphase, Tesla, Point Guard, etc.) Install and commission Home Standby Generators (Generac) Dig trenches and footings. Pour concrete. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient installation processes. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine installation requirements. Utilize power tools and hand tools safely to complete installation tasks. Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality. Adhere to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during installations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. Communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress and any necessary adjustments. Skills Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to the installation. Understanding of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems. Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety protocols. Familiarity with NEC regulations. Ability to read blueprints and technical documents accurately. Experience operating forklifts and other equipment for material handling is advantageous. Message from the General Manager "I am looking for the guy who is currently doing this job. I want the guy who is has the product training and certifications already. They are the ones on the jobsite who are commissioning the system, taking the pictures for financing, doing the layout on the roof, running conduit, digging trenches. They know what they are doing and they do it well. Enphase 5p/10c, Tesla PW3, and Generac Generator installation and commissioning experience is required for consideration. Something like 20 installs minimum across those systems. The perfect candidate could show up first day be handed a set plans and go knock the job that day. If they can submit their training certificates for things like Enphase, Tesla, and Generac that would be a massive plus for their chances. Any HVAC experience and or a CLD is a huge plus too."
