About Us DL Installations & Interiors is a growing Metro Atlanta installation company specializing in residential indoor and outdoor treatments. Our team installs custom products throughout Metro Atlanta and North Georgia. We are looking for an experienced Installation Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well independently and with a crew, and provides professional customer service. Role The Installation Technician will perform residential indoor and outdoor installations, including blinds, shades, shutters, drapery, awnings, and motorized screens. Candidates should already have strong hands-on installation experience and be comfortable using drills, hand and power tools, tape measures, levels, anchors, and mounting hardware. Paid training is provided for our specific products and procedures. Once fully trained, technicians are expected to independently complete assigned installation routes while also working as part of a multi-person crew when needed. Position Type This is a 1099 independent contractor position.

Compensation Training Rate:

$1,125 per week.

Installation Technician Rate:

$1,250 per week once fully trained on all products and procedures. Pay is issued biweekly. Duties Install and assemble blinds, shades, shutters, drapery, awnings, and motorized screens Measure, drill, mount, anchor, level, assemble, and secure products Read and follow work orders and installation specifications Troubleshoot installation issues Independently complete assigned residential installation routes once trained Work as part of a crew on larger indoor and outdoor installations Safely use drills, hand tools, power tools, ladders, and installation equipment Lift and position larger products as part of a crew Transport products and equipment between appointments Communicate professionally with customers and maintain a clean work area Required Prior professional installation, construction, carpentry, maintenance, or similar trade experience Strong experience using drills and power tools Must own a drill and basic hand tools Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Comfortable measuring, drilling, mounting, leveling, and troubleshooting Comfortable working indoors and outdoors Ability to lift approximately 50-70 lbs Comfortable working from ladders Strong customer-service and communication skills Clean and professional appearance Dependable and punctual Must successfully complete required background screening Highly Preferred Experience Window-treatment installation Awning installation Awning, sMotorized Screens, or other outdoor product installation Cabinet installation Garage-door installation Sign or fixture installation Residential maintenance Construction or remodeling Service Area This position services customers throughout Metro Atlanta and North Georgia. Routes may include multiple customer appointments per day and travel throughout the service area.
