We're Minneapolis' specialists in design and installation of residential and commercial holiday lighting displays, and we're hiring immediately for our holiday lighting season. This role can be seasonal (October-December) or long-term full-time with opportunities for growth. About the Role As a Holiday Lighting Technician, you'll install and remove holiday lighting displays on homes and businesses across the Twin Cities. You'll work outdoors on rooflines, ladders, and heights (10-30 feet), making properties shine during the season. We provide paid training — no experience required. If you're already comfortable with ladders or outdoor labor (roofing, landscaping, contracting, etc.), you'll fit right in. Compensation For New Technicians (No Experience):

Training Period:

$18-$20/hour while learning.

After Training:

Transition to our percentage-of-job pay system . You earn a set share of each job you complete — no selling required, just quality installation.

Typical Earnings:

$25-$32/hour on average, plus customer tips.

For Experienced Technicians:

Starting Base Pay:

$20-$26/hour, depending on experience.

After Training/Transition:

Same percentage-of-job system as above.

Typical Earnings:

$30-$38/hour on average, plus tips.

Additional Pay & Benefits:

Customer tips on many jobs. Performance bonuses and incentives. PTO eligibility for long-term employees. Requirements Available Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM start (finish typically 4-5 PM). Comfortable working outdoors in all weather (rain, snow, cold). Comfortable on ladders and rooflines (10-30 feet). Able to lift 50 lbs. Reliable transportation to our Golden Valley office (Hwy 55 & 169).

Job Overview No prior experience required — we will train you to install Christmas lights safely and efficiently. Residential work on homes typically 1-3 stories high. Crews leave daily from our Golden Valley facility in company trucks with all tools provided. Travel to customers' homes and commercial properties throughout the Twin Cities.
