As our project volume increases, we are looking to add dependable solar installers to our team. We are open to both experienced installers and individuals looking to enter the solar industry. Previous solar or construction experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right candidates who bring a strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and a willingness to learn. Experienced installers who can contribute immediately will be considered for the higher end of the pay range. Responsibilities Assist with residential and commercial solar installations Install racking, attachments, modules, ballast, and related equipment Measure, lay out, and prepare solar arrays Load, unload, stage, and organize project materials Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and fall-protection equipment safely Assist with basic electrical work under qualified supervision Follow project plans, safety procedures, and crew-lead instructions Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Travel to project locations as required Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Qualifications No solar experience required for entry-level candidates Solar, roofing, electrical, or general construction experience is preferred Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Ability to work safely on roofs and at heights Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds Comfortable working outdoors and performing physically demanding work Willingness to travel when projects require it Ability to follow instructions and work well within a crew Positive attitude and willingness to learn Valid driver's license preferred Experience That May Qualify for Higher Pay Residential or commercial solar installation Ballasted and attached racking systems Module layout and installation Solar electrical work Enphase, SolarEdge, Tesla, or Generac equipment OSHA, fall-protection, aerial-lift, or other safety certifications Crew-lead or project-lead experience Ability to read plans, layouts, and electrical drawings Compensation Pay ranges from $16 to $25 per hour and will be based on experience, reliability, certifications, productivity, and ability to work independently.
