Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of solar energy systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of both low and high voltage systems, as well as the ability to work effectively in various environments, including rooftops and construction sites. Responsibilities Install solar panels, inverters, and other components on rooftops and ground-mounted systems. Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement of solar installations. Ensure all installations comply with local codes and regulations. Perform fixture installation and connect wiring for low voltage and high voltage systems. Utilize hand tools, voltmeters, and other equipment safely and effectively during installation. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high safety standards. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during or after installation to ensure system functionality. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. Experience Previous experience in solar installation or related fields such as construction or electrical work is preferred. Familiarity with low voltage systems, high voltage systems, and fixture installation techniques is essential. Ability to operate forklifts and other machinery safely is a plus. Proficient in using hand tools and electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are critical for success in this role. Must be comfortable working at heights on roofs and in various weather conditions.
