Job Description

About the Role We are looking for a skilled, hands-on Motorized Screen Installer to help our clients transform their outdoor living spaces. In this role, you will precision-install premium motorized screens and custom patio enclosures for both homes and businesses. If you take pride in flawless craftsmanship, enjoy working outdoors, and want a dynamic role where no two days look exactly the same, we'd love to have you on our team.
Key Responsibilities Installation:
Measure, assemble, and securely mount motorized screen units, tracks, and housings onto various structures (wood, concrete, stucco).
Wiring & Setup:
Connect basic low-voltage components, set up plug-and-play electrical systems, and program remote controls or smart-home apps.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and fix tracking alignment, tension issues, or motor limits during setup.
Customer Education:
Demonstrate product operation to clients, answer questions, and ensure they are completely satisfied before leaving the job site.
Safety & Care:
Maintain a clean, organized company truck and safely operate power tools and ladders.
What We're Looking For Experience:
1-2 years in carpentry, window coverings, garage door installation, or a related construction/handyman trade is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using power tools, levels, and laser measures.
Physical Ability:
Comfort working on ladders, scaffolding, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
Mindset:
Punctual, professional, and detail-oriented. Perks & Benefits Company vehicle and power tools provided for work hours. Paid training on specialized motorized and automated systems.
