Responsibilities Prepare detailed tile estimates by reviewing blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings to accurately determine material quantities and labor costs. Utilize QuickBooks Desktop to create precise job costing, invoicing, and financial tracking for each project. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to discuss project scope, specifications, and budget expectations. Source and order appropriate building materials such as tile, grout, fixtures, and related supplies while ensuring cost efficiency. Conduct on-site inspections to verify measurements, assess site conditions, and ensure adherence to blueprint specifications. Assist in scheduling and coordinating tile masonry work, gutter installation, flooring installation, and other related tasks using ladders and power tools safely. Maintain detailed records of project progress, change orders, and client communications for transparency and accountability. Requirements Proven experience as a Tile Estimator with a strong background in construction estimating within residential or commercial projects. Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop for financial management and job costing purposes. Extensive knowledge of tile laying techniques, building material installation, drywall finishing (plastering/stucco), caulking, fixture installation, flooring installation, and gutter work. Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar digital markup tools for interpreting construction plans and technical drawings. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, ladders, tape measures, and other construction equipment. Strong understanding of plumbing, electrical systems related to tile work or remodeling projects is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members. Ability to interpret dimensional measurements accurately and follow detailed blueprints or construction plans. Construction site experience including remodeling projects is highly desirable.
