OBJECTIVES
Execute stone restoration, polishing, honing, sealing, and cleaning services on marble, granite, travertine, limestone, quartz, and quartzite surfaces under the direct guidance of experienced Lead Technicians. Prepare job sites thoroughly before beginning work, including protecting surrounding surfaces, staging equipment and materials, and confirming scope of work with the Lead Technician prior to starting. Follow all technical procedures, product application instructions, and quality standards established by Sureshine to ensure every job meets the company's service guarantee on the first visit. Maintain all tools, equipment, and machinery in clean, operational condition, reporting any damage, malfunction, or supply shortage to the Lead Technician immediately to avoid disruption to job site productivity. Assist in the application of specialty services including tile and grout cleaning, glass polishing, exterior stone care, AntiEtch marble counter sealing, and garage floor epoxy as directed and trained. Conduct thorough job site cleanup at the completion of every project, ensuring all surfaces, work areas, and surrounding spaces are left in a condition that reflects Sureshine's commitment to professionalism and client satisfaction. Engage with clients in a courteous, professional manner throughout the job, reinforcing Sureshine's reputation for quality workmanship and respectful customer service at every touchpoint. Participate actively in all training sessions, technical demonstrations, and skill development opportunities provided by Sureshine, applying new knowledge consistently in the field. Assist the Lead Technician in reviewing completed work before departure, confirming that all scope items have been addressed and that the client is satisfied with the results. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required. No prior stone restoration experience required; paid on-the-job training is provided and candidates with a demonstrated eagerness to learn are strongly encouraged to apply. Prior experience in a trade, field service, janitorial, cleaning, or hands-on labor environment is a plus and will be considered favorably. Basic familiarity with hand tools, power equipment, or cleaning chemicals preferred; willingness to learn proper handling and application is required. Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and consistently in a field or production environment. Strong interpersonal skills with a professional, client-friendly demeanor required for in-home and commercial job site interactions. Ability to manage time effectively, arrive punctually, and maintain a reliable schedule across varying job site locations throughout the day. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred; reliable transportation to job sites required. Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver tools, equipment, and supply containers weighing up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the workday during job site setup, service execution, and teardown. Must be capable of working in a variety of physical positions for extended periods, including kneeling, crouching, bending, and working at ground level on floors, showers, and countertops common to stone restoration work. Must be comfortable working in residential and commercial interior environments with exposure to chemical products, requiring adherence to all safety and ventilation protocols at all times. Must possess the physical stamina to maintain consistent performance and attention to detail across full-duration shifts that may include multiple job sites in a single day.
