Landscape Maintenance Specialist Gardenista Jax creates stunning outdoor living spaces — and we need someone who takes pride in keeping them that way. We're looking for a detail-obsessed Landscape Maintenance Specialist who loves making plants look their absolute best after every visit.

Position Summary:

As a Landscape Maintenance Specialist, your job is to make our clients' installations look picture-perfect on a regular schedule. You'll visit properties throughout the Jacksonville Beaches area and surrounding communities to weed, deadhead, prune, and refine the beautiful outdoor spaces our team has created — leaving every planting looking intentional, clean, and cared for.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance visits at client properties on a regular schedule Weed planting beds, planters, and container gardens thoroughly Deadhead spent blooms and remove damaged or yellowing foliage Prune and shape plants to maintain their designed look Clean and clear plant areas of debris, fallen leaves, and organic material Water plants as needed and monitor for signs of stress or disease Report observations about plant health and any needed follow-up to the team lead Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment

Requirements:

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Willingness to travel within Jacksonville Beaches and surrounding areas (mileage not covered) Ability to transport tools and materials using your own vehicle when needed Must be able to pass a background check Good physical fitness and stamina — able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods Comfortable working outdoors in Florida heat and all weather conditions Familiarity with basic gardening tools and techniques Tech-savvy and comfortable using Google Calendar, Google Drive, Asana, and Slack — or eager and willing to learn these tools quickly Sharp eye for detail and a high standard for how things look Strong, dependable work ethic and good communication skills Ability to follow detailed care instructions and respond positively to feedback

Compensation & Benefits:

$25-$35 per hour based on experience Average 8-15 hours per week with opportunities for more Performance review and potential pay increase after 30 days Training provided Flexible schedule to accommodate work-life balance Opportunities for advancement within our growing company
