Job Summary We are hiring a Tile Roofing Sales & Insurance Claims Specialist to focus exclusively on tile roofing systems — one of the most technical and high-value segments of residential roofing. This is not a generalist sales role! We need someone who understands tile-specific installation standards, manufacturer requirements, and how tile claims are evaluated differently than asphalt shingle claims by insurance carriers and adjusters. You'll own the full cycle: inspecting tile roofs, documenting damage, building the insurance claim, negotiating with adjusters, and guiding homeowners from first inspection through final payment. Responsibilities Inspect tile roofs for storm, wind, hail, and wear-related damage, including underlayment and flashing issues that aren't visible from the ground. Identify tile type, profile, and manufacturer to determine repair vs. full replacement scope. Meet with homeowners to explain the insurance claims process specific to tile roofing (matching requirements, discontinued tile lines, code upgrades, etc.). Build supplemental documentation and negotiate directly with insurance adjusters to secure fair claim settlements. Assist homeowners in selecting tile materials, colors, and profiles for replacement. Coordinate build days, material delivery, crane/hoist scheduling, and production timelines with the install team. Collect payments and clearly explain the payment and insurance disbursement process (RCV/ACV, depreciation, etc.). Generate and market new leads in your territory. Requirements Insurance claims experience required — prior work in property claims, public adjusting, restoration sales, or a related field where you've negotiated with carriers. Familiarity with tile roofing systems preferred (concrete, clay, and/or synthetic tile); willing to train the right candidate on tile-specific technical knowledge. Comfortable climbing a ladder and walking tile roofs safely (tile requires different footing and handling than shingle). Strong face-to-face communication and negotiation skills. Reliable transportation and a smartphone capable of photo/video documentation. Self-disciplined with strong time management — this is an independent, field-based role. Compensation & Benefits $2,500
