Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Tiler to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and restoring a wide variety of flooring and wall surfaces with precision and expertise. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate tile layout and installation. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying primers or adhesives as needed for optimal tile adhesion. Install various types of flooring including ceramic, porcelain, vinyl with precision and attention to detail. Execute floor refinishing, water damage restoration, and floor care procedures to restore surfaces to their original condition or enhance their appearance. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and laying tiles or other building materials. Ensure all work complies with building installation safety standards and regulations while maintaining a clean and organized work site. Requirements and Qualifications Extensive experience in tile laying across residential and commercial projects with a focus on quality craftsmanship. Experience on water proofing installation for shower and wet room applications Proficiency in construction estimating to accurately assess project scope and material needs. Strong knowledge of interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans for precise execution. Familiarity with the use of hand tools such as trowels, chisels, levels; power tools including saws and drills; as well as safety equipment for construction site safety compliance. Experience in restoration industry practices including water damage restoration and renovation projects. Ability to handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy materials safely (manual handling) while adhering to safety protocols. Strong understanding of construction site experience with the ability to interpret schematics accurately for complex installations. Proficiency with power tools, blueprint reading, and knowledge of various tiling techniques. Ability to kneel, crouch, and lift heavy materials for long periods. High attention to detail for accurate level, plumb, and square alignments. High school diploma or GED Experience of 3+ years of tiling

Pay:

$20.00 - $40.00 per hour
