POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Countertop Install Helper to join our installation team. This role works directly alongside our experienced installers on residential and commercial job sites — handling materials, preparing surfaces, assisting with precise installation, and representing Top Advantage Surfaces with professionalism at every stop. No prior countertop experience is required. The right candidate brings a strong work ethic, the ability to follow directions, a careful eye for detail, and the physical readiness to do demanding, hands-on work. This is a great entry point for someone who wants to grow a career in a skilled trade with a company that invests in its people.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the loading, unloading, and transportation of countertop materials to job sites Support the lead installer in preparing surfaces and materials for installation, including cutting, polishing, and fitting Carry tools and materials to and from the work area as needed throughout the workday Help ensure precise measurements and alignments during the installation process Clean and organize job sites before and after installations to maintain a professional appearance Follow all safety protocols and ensure the proper handling of heavy and fragile materials at all times Learn and develop a working understanding of countertop installation techniques to grow within the role

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior experience in construction, cabinetry, or countertop installation is a plus — but not required; we will train the right person Valid driver's license with reliable transportation Ability to lift and carry heavy materials up to 100 lbs using proper technique Comfortable using basic hand tools and power tools Strong attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to quality workmanship Excellent teamwork and communication skills — you work well with others and take direction well Willingness to grow within the role and develop skills in a skilled trade
