Full-Time We are seeking experienced Tile Setters to install tile and related finish materials for prefabricated modular construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, quality workmanship, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a production or construction environment.
Responsibilities:
Review blueprints, drawings, layouts, specifications, and work instructions. Measure and mark surfaces to determine proper tile placement and installation requirements. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, waterproofing, and applying approved preparation materials. Cut and shape tile around corners, openings, obstacles, and irregular spaces. Mix and apply mortar, cement, mastic, adhesive, grout, and other approved setting materials. Set, align, level, space, and secure wall and floor tile. Install decorative patterns, mosaic tile, and other specialty finishes as assigned. Install and finish granite, marble, and similar materials when trained and qualified. Inspect completed work for alignment, spacing, cleanliness, and overall finish quality. Make necessary adjustments or corrections to ensure work meets project specifications. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, levels, squares, spacers, trowels, and other equipment. Maintain an organized work area and properly care for tools and materials. Follow all safety procedures, personal protective equipment requirements, and site-specific rules. Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, contractors, and other project personnel. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous tile-setting, flooring, finish-work, remodeling, or construction experience preferred. Ability to read measurements, follow layouts, and recognize alignment and pattern requirements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to safely use or learn to use tile installation tools and equipment. Professional communication skills and a dependable work ethic. Ability to work in construction and installation environments. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
OSHA 10, OSHA
30, rigging, or signal-calling certifications are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform detailed hand work. Must be able to lift, carry, position, and move tile, tools, equipment, and installation materials. Must be be comfortable working around noise, dust, debris, uneven surfaces, wet areas, and changing temperatures. Qualified candidates should have hands-on tile installation experience, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to consistently produce clean, accurate, and professional finishes.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
