Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dependable Tile Setter to join our team in New Braunfels, TX. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience installing ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, and other tile materials in residential and/or commercial settings. The Tile Setter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, laying out tile installations, making accurate cuts, setting tile, grouting, and completing projects to a high standard of quality. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, works efficiently, and can complete installations according to project specifications and schedules. Responsibilities Install ceramic, porcelain, stone, mosaic, and other tile materials. Measure and lay out installation areas accurately before beginning work. Prepare floors, walls, showers, backsplashes, and other surfaces for tile installation. Install appropriate backer board, membranes, and waterproofing systems as required. Mix and apply thinset, mortar, grout, and related materials. Cut and shape tile using wet saws, grinders, manual cutters, and other tile-setting tools. Maintain straight, level, properly spaced, and visually consistent tile installations. Install trim, transitions, niches, and other finishing details as required. Identify and correct installation issues before completing the project. Protect surrounding surfaces and maintain a clean, organized work area. Follow project plans, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and company quality standards. Follow all jobsite safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment. Communicate professionally with supervisors, project managers, other trades, and customers when necessary. Complete assigned work within established project schedules. Qualifications Previous professional tile-setting experience preferred. knowledge of tile installation methods, surface preparation, waterproofing, and grouting.
