ABLE TRADES
is an established and growing company with over 20 years of experience serving Maine communities. We are seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our Weatherization Team. Our work focuses on improving the comfort, efficiency, and safety of homes through insulation installation, air sealing, door and window replacements, bathroom exhaust fan installation, and related carpentry tasks. As part of a 2-3 person crew, you will play an important role in helping homeowners improve their homes while working in a structured, team-oriented environment. We are willing to train the right individual in weatherization skills. Construction or carpentry experience is helpful, but a strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn are equally important. What You'll Do Install insulation and perform weatherization work Assist with door, window, and ventilation installations Perform basic carpentry and job site tasks Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently Maintain organized and safe job sites What We're Looking For Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor throughout the day Ability to work in crawl spaces, including under mobile homes as needed (Protective outer garments provided) Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Ability to follow direction and work well with a team Commitment to our core values of Service, Integrity, Respect, and Perseverance What You Can Expect From Us Paid weekly PTO Earned paid time off 7 days Holiday Pay Competitive wages Paid travel time and mileage (per company policy) Supportive team environment Variety of projects and steady work Opportunities for advancement and increased responsibility Many tools provided by the company Location & Travel Our hub is based in Lewiston/Sabattus, though projects may range from local to occasionally up to 75 minutes away. Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
