On-site Position Summary The Assembler Tester I is responsible for basic assembly and testing of a variety of products and product components. They ensure that parts and products are assembled accurately by following standard practices and procedures. The Assembler Tester I maintains necessary materials for production, keeps their workspace clean and organized, and updates work performed in the Enterprise Resource Planning system.

Meet Safety requirements; personal protective equipment always worn in the facility Meet or exceed daily production requirements 100% accuracy on any inventory transactions and quality requirements 100% adherence to processes and material usage, no deviations Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Performs basic assembly of parts and products according to Manufacturing Process Sheets (MPS) and Bills of Material (BOM). Reviews job information in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system daily to determine orders to process. Maintains inventory of materials needed for production orders. Operates basic equipment and uses common hand and pneumatic tools as instructed. Performs standard tests after completion of each assembly operation to ensure parts and products meet tolerances, product specifications and quality standards. Rotates between different workstations and/or bays as production needs require or to reduce fatigue. Examines work completed by team members for accuracy, continued operations and safety. Moves materials as needed for production, utilizing proper equipment and safety procedures. Ensures maximum output for work area; manages time effectively in order to meet strict time deadlines and production volumes. Visually inspects parts for quality and reports any issues to Team Lead or Supervisor. Updates the ERP for work performed. Maintains daily production records as directed. Detects and reports improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials, and any unusual conditions to Team Lead and/or Supervisor. Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition; ensures equipment is in good operating condition. Attends and participates in monthly safety meetings. Adheres to all safety policies and wears personal protective equipment as required. Performs other related duties as requested.
Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred 3 months of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Competent to operate computer and complete basic data entry in systems Must successfully learn specific responsibilities as assigned and adhere to production procedures Proficient and functioning in job responsibilities and able to attain Manufacturing Process Sheets (MPS) training sign-off within 90 days Physical dexterity to manipulate hand tools and power tools Ability to push, pull, lift and/or move materials of up to 30 lbs; capable of using hoists for materials over 30 lbs Ability to perform repetitive work requiring constant alertness or activity, including standing and lifting Attention to detail is essential for success Capable of following verbal and/or written instruction Good communication skills with the ability to work within a team setting Well organized Work Environment This position works primarily in a production floor environment where large equipment and noise are prevalent. Safety gear is required in these areas. This position reports into the site every workday. Management This position has no direct reports.
