Assistant Community Manager Chestnut Development, LLC Whitmore Lake, MI Job Details Full-time $19 - $21 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Interpersonal skills Customer service Fair Housing regulations Yardi High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Assistant Community Manager Reports To - Community Manager Job Overview The Assistant Community Manager will assist the Community Manager in all aspects/duties as assigned for Chestnut Hills, a 208 unit apartment community located in Whitmore Lake, MI . This position mainly focuses on exceptional customer service, leasing, resident retention, and maintaining financial goals. Possible Saturday hours required. Responsibilities & Duties
  • Assist Community Manager with the day to day operations as needed
  • Conduct all tasks in accordance with Chestnut policies and procedures, Fair Housing Act, Americanswith Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other federal and state laws
  • Manage the leasing process from tour to move-in, including completing lease documents andinspecting apartment homes while adhering to company policy
  • Process and manage prospective residents in a timely manner through Yardi Breeze
  • Conduct credit checks and other background tasks to qualify potential residents
  • Collect application fees, security deposits and rent payments through Yardi Breeze
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospective residents, vendors, and other teammembers at all times
  • Monitor market conditions and maintain market survey
  • Coordinate property maintenance through Yardi Breeze
  • Perform daily/weekly property inspections
  • Accountable for keeping units leased by marketing initiatives
  • Monitor delinquency and send notices as necessary
  • Conduct lease renewals - send out renewal letters, generate leases, and enter into Yardi
  • Maintain KeyTrak key management system
  • Perform pet registration, including DNA swab
  • Assist Service Technician with scheduling as needed
  • Other duties as assigned Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in property management Fair Housing Training - we will provide if needed
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and disciplined
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Ability to multitask during busy periods
  • Strong knowledge of the Fair Housing Act
  • Flexible schedule as business needs may change
  • Team Player with the 3'

Character, Chemistry & Competency Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
