We're on the lookout for a dynamic, guest-focused Assistant General Manager who brings equal parts business acumen and hospitality heart to the table. What You'll Do As Assistant General Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of the restaurant supporting the GM leading the team, owning the guest experience, and driving profitability. You'll collaborate closely with the GM and Executive Chef to set the tone, scale performance, and build a culture of accountability and celebration.
Responsibilities:
Lead daily restaurant operations with excellence in service, safety, and execution Champion the guest experience by modeling hospitality, resolving concerns, and ensuring standards are met Recruit, hire, train, and retain a high-performing team with a focus on culture and career development Set performance goals and coach managers and hourly team members to exceed expectations Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations Manage P&L with a sharp eye on controllables: labor, COGS, and operating expenses Partner with marketing and operations to activate local initiatives and drive traffic Forecast and schedule labor to meet operational needs and business volume Lead daily line checks, shift huddles, and pre-shift meetings to ensure readiness and communication Oversee facilities, vendor relationships, and inventory accuracy What We're Looking For 3+ years of progressive restaurant leadership experience, including multi-manager oversight Strong business and financial acumen with proven experience managing budgets and costs A hands-on leader who thrives in high-energy, fast-paced environments Excellent communicator with the ability to motivate, develop, and lead diverse teams Highly organized with an eye for detail and a drive for continuous improvement Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs Requirements Valid Food Handler and Alcohol Service Certifications Valid Driver's License Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Why Fat Rosie's?
