Our mission is to support youth, individuals with developmental disabilities, those experiencing mental illness, and the elderly through a range of services including licensed group homes and skilled nursing care. About the
Role:
McBride Quality Care Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable and compassionate Assistant Home Manager to help support the day-to-day operations of one of our licensed Adult Foster Care homes. In this leadership role, you will provide direct oversight to staff and ensure clients receive the highest quality care in the absence of the Home Manager. If you are motivated, organized, and dedicated to making a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as temporary manager when the Home Manager is off duty Supervise and support direct care staff Assist with staff training, orientation, and scheduling Ensure client care is in accordance with their Person-Centered Plan Communicate professionally with staff, families, medical providers, and licensing professionals Help maintain compliance with state licensing and company standards Provide coverage during on-call weekends and help fill shift vacancies as needed Promote a safe, respectful, and positive home environment Maintain confidentiality and uphold MQCSI policies and values
Requirements:
Valid Driver's License (required) Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Must pass a Physical and TB test Ability to pass an FBI Fingerprint Background Check Must complete CPR, First Aid, Recipient Rights, and Universal Precautions within 30 days of hire Completion of State-required Direct Care Worker training within 6 months Reliable and able to work flexible hours, including some weekends and on-call shifts Commitment to quality care and team collaboration Why Join McBride?
