Job DescriptionStarting wage is $15-20/hr depending on experience We are seeking an energetic and skilled Assistant Manager to join our team at our location in Cambridge, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, supporting staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction in our fast-paced food service environment.
Assist in managing daily store operations, including staff supervision and customer serviceOversee food preparation, quality control, and inventory managementOperate and maintain all store equipmentProcess customer orders via phone and in-person, ensuring accuracy and efficiencyHandle cash transactions and maintain financial recordsCoordinate deliveries and manage stock levelsImplement and maintain cleanliness and food safety standardsTrain and mentor team members on proper procedures and customer service techniquesResolve customer complaints and address any operational issuesSupport the store manager in achieving sales targets and improving overall performanceAdapt to changing priorities and assist in various tasks as neQualificationsProven experience in food service or retail managementStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsProficiency in operating food service equipment and POS systemsBasic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accuratelyComputer literacy for order processing and inventory managementPhysical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and navigate stairsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in varying temperatures and conditionsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesEfficient time management and organizational skillsKnowledge of food safety regulations and best practicesFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekendsFood safety certification preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent required
