About the Opportunity We're looking for a driven, hands-on Assistant Plant Manager (Evening Shift) to help lead operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. What You'll Do As a key leader on the evening shift, you will: Drive production performance to meet output, efficiency, and quality goals Troubleshoot equipment and operational challenges with strong mechanical aptitude Partner cross-functionally with maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams Lead and develop supervisors and team leads to elevate performance Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, FDA, and USDA standards Champion food safety, quality, and workplace safety Support scheduling, planning, and preventative maintenance programs Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles Analyze KPIs (efficiency, downtime, yield, labor) to drive results What You Bring 5+ years of manufacturing experience (food industry preferred) 2-3+ years in a leadership role within production Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Experience with ERP systems and production planning Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs Proven ability to develop SOPs and improve processes Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills Why Join Us?
