We are Tribeca Cabinetry, and we are seeking a Assistant Plant Manager to join our growing team in Saddle Brook, NJ! Located in in Saddle Brook, NJ, Tribeca Cabinetry is passionate in our quest to provide beautiful, high-quality semi-Custom kitchen cabinetry at a reasonable cost to the building trades of the Eastern, Southern and Mid-Atlantic states. Responsible for leading team members in the production and assembly of custom cabinetry and accessories with a continuous focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). Hyper-focused on schedule attainment and the efficient output of products hour-by-hour. Possesses strong business management skills in the areas of: planning, leading others, communicating expectations and performance standards, delivering results, meeting customer expectations, and adapting and responding to change and challenges. Oversees and leads Production departments to ensure complete, on-time schedule attainment and quality standards at or above customer expectations. Ensures team members are working safely and efficiently at all times. Reports to the Director of Operations.
Job Summary:
Manages, tracks, and coordinates the activities of manufacturing personnel. Manages production employees performing a wide variety of manufacturing and assembly requirements. Continuously reviews the production schedule and completion rate. Maintains hour-by-hour production data and documents problems and obstacles. Analyzes sales orders, blueprints and standardized work documents to ensure customer requirements are understood and met by team. Plans and establishes work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals. Oversees effective startup/shutdown of each shift. Manages inventory of work-in-process (WIP) and ensures cabinets and components are in the right place, at the right time, and in the right quantity. Trains and coaches team members supporting the cross-training program. Monitors production flow on the line, troubleshoots problems and leads corrective actions. Identifies and eliminates unsafe conditions and behavior. Ensures safe and proper operation of all machinery and equipment in the department. Serves as lock-out tag-out authority in the section. Supports the quality system and participates in quality checks (hourly/daily) to ensure in-process and finished goods meet all specifications for quality.
Desired Skills:
Strong leadership, organizational and planning skills that demonstrate leading and motivating people to achieve team production goals. 5 years' experience in wood working, cabinet building, and wood finishing (Highly preferred) Hands-on leadership and mechanical aptitude.
Hours of Work:
First Shift. Typically, Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Overtime will be required to ensure production deadlines are met, or to complete assigned projects. Overtime is typically scheduled daily and/or Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
