• West Mansfield, OhioWe are actively seeking a hardworking problem solver to join our processing team in as an Assistant Processing Manager.

This is a mid-level management position responsible for the day-to-day supervision of processing employees to achieve required processing and quality standards in a safe, efficient and effective manner, while promoting and maintaining positive work relationships. Key Responsibilities Perform pre-operational inspections on machinery daily Support and coordinate daily plant operations, including egg processing and shipments to meet schedules and quality standards. Address and resolve operational issues, such as equipment malfunctions, processing delays, or quality deviations, promptly and effectively. Trains, directs, and develops subordinates to meet operating, safety and quality requirements within the department and/or area. Supervises processing employees to ensure that everything within the plant is running smoothly. Creates and maintains an environment that is conducive to retaining associates. Consistently administers Company policies and procedures. Ensure a diverse team of employees maintain quality standards, through effective training, coaching, personnel scheduling and operational efficiencies. Work with the maintenance department for repair, and calibration of plant equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime Take a proactive approach to issue resolution including root cause analyses and error proofing controls related to down time. Manage inventory tracking and work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and address any supply chain issues. Responsible for filling out all necessary paperwork and ensuring that it is distributed and sent to the correct areas. This may include using a computer and fax machine. (General computer training will be provided if needed.) Qualifications and Skills Must be flexible, goal-orientated, results-driven, focused, and have the ability to meet goals and deadlines on a consistent basis. Prior experience in a lead or supervisory position preferred. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Must be able to perform misc. management job functions

• must be able to make quick and rational decisions in dealing with personnel, equipment, etc., and must be able to direct questions or problems to the Processing Manager. Have excellent communication and people skills
• must be able to motivate and or discipline employees to fulfill their job to the best of their ability. Treat ALL employees in the complex with respect and courtesy. Must be able to follow all WBI safety and biosecurity standards thoroughly Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
• the ability to deal with stressful situations Work Environment Must possess the ability to work in a manufacturing environment, indoors, office, warehouse, processing, and other environment specific atmospheres.

Which may include egg odor, general dampness, and general spills or messes that are common in an egg processing facility. Must possess the ability to work in an open office setting.
