Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Store Manager to join our dynamic retail team. In this pivotal role, you will support the store's daily operations, lead sales initiatives, and foster a positive shopping environment. Your leadership will drive team performance, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain efficient store processes. Responsibilities Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures Lead and motivate a diverse team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, ensuring high satisfaction levels through effective communication skills Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new employees Maintain accurate cash handling, POS transactions, payroll processing, and bookkeeping records Implement employee orientation, training & development programs to enhance team skills and performance Coordinate purchasing activities and manage pricing strategies to optimize profitability Supervise shift management, scheduling, and ensure compliance with store policies and safety standards Utilize management tools for budgeting, sales management, and inventory management to meet operational goals Experience Proven assistant manager or supervisory experience within a retail environment Strong background in retail sales, merchandising, and inventory management Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively Experience with POS systems, cash handling, payroll processing, and bookkeeping software Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases Familiarity with retail math, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and store management best practices Excellent organizational skills complemented by effective communication abilities and time management expertise Join us to lead a vibrant retail environment where your leadership can inspire teams and elevate customer experiences!
