• Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Assistant Tasting Room Manager to join our vibrant team.

Duties Assist the Tasting Room Manager in coordinating daily operations, including staff scheduling and training Lead by example in providing outstanding customer service, guiding guests through tastings, and sharing product knowledge Oversee POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to ensure accurate sales processing and cash handling Support menu planning efforts by collaborating with culinary teams to develop engaging tasting experiences and food pairings Manage upselling opportunities to enhance sales while ensuring guests receive personalized recommendations Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all tasting areas, adhering to food handling regulations and best practices Facilitate banquet, catering, and special event setups within the tasting room environment Handle cashiering duties efficiently during busy periods, ensuring accurate cash handling and transaction processing Assist with inventory management of wine, food items, and supplies to support seamless service delivery Skills Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments, preferably with fine dining or tasting room settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales transactions Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and culinary concepts within the food industry Experience with serving, banquets, catering, and food handling procedures Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks including cash handling, inventory control, and event setup Background in sales or hospitality roles that emphasize customer engagement and relationship building Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to creating memorable experiences through exceptional hospitality.
