Assistant Teacher

welcome to the pond! The pond is a magical place where children learn and play in harmony with nature. We are an intimate nature based enritchment program for 3 & 4 year olds located in Centerport. We follow the Harborfields school district calendar and operate Monday-Friday 9am-12pm.

THIS POSITION WILL BEGIN ASAP

We are looking for a special person to assist our lead teacher durring our morning sessions! We spend hours outdoors, so we hope you love nature as much as we do! Rain, Snow and sunshine... we're out in it! This position is perfect for you if you are super reliable and love to play, sing, paint, dance, bake, color, laugh, teach all with a kind and patien t and demeanor. Each day the children are with us is about building a foundation for a positive and fun first school experience. Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in managing classroom activities and maintaining a positive learning environment. Engage with the children in a nurturing tone. light cleaning Have fun! Qualifications Experience with children Background in early childhood education and childhood development a plus.
