Are you a dog lover who thrives in a fast-paced, fun environment? As an ACC Plus Handler, you'll be in charge of keeping our more delicate guests safe, happy, and healthy! From supervising wellness activities to administering meds and ensuring top-notch care, every day will be an adventure. You'll work closely with a team to provide individualized attention to dogs of all kinds and help them thrive during their stay. Plus, you'll play a key role in training new staff and making sure each dog has the best experience! This position involves caring for post-operative and special needs dogs. Veterinary Technician/Assistant experience a must . Schedule is 10:00 pm to 5:00 am Key Responsibilities Provide post-operative care as prescribed by the client's veterinarian Administer medications correctly and on time. This includes giving insulin as required. Maintain detailed and accurate health records for each dog. Feed each dog according to their provided instructions Ensure that each dog is comfortable in their housing area Exercise each dog as outlined in their treatment plan. Maintain and clean all

Qualifications Veterinary Technician/Assistant required Must be able to stand for prolonged periods without a break. Able to lift 50-60 pounds, bend and squat repeatedly Work with cleaning chemicals safely Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to use the computer to communicate, input data. Ability to stay calm under pressure High attention to detail and critical thinking skills
