Competitive salary:

$22hr to $25/hr (depending on experience) plus profit sharing. An opportunity to shape the future of our café while preserving its rich history.

Your Role:

As our Assistant Manager, you'll partner with ownership to oversee daily operations, inspire our team, and ensure exceptional customer experiences. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll wear many hats, from guiding staff and managing operations to connecting with the community.

What You'll Do:

Inspire Excellence :

Lead by example, fostering a collaborative and positive environment.

Drive Innovation :

Organize specials, events, and creative marketing campaigns to increase sales.

Community Engagement :

Build relationships with businesses and schools to grow our catering services.

Ensure Quality :

Oversee ingredient ordering, food preparation, and portioning standards.

Hands-On Leadership :

Bake, serve customers, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment. Develop the

Team :

Train, coach, and mentor staff in customer service and safety practices.

Optimize Operations :

Manage scheduling, staffing, and administrative duties efficiently.

What We're Looking For:

Leadership experience in restaurant management (manager or assistant manager). Passion for delivering world-class customer service . Knowledge of food safety, preparation principles, and occupational safety. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel or Google Sheets/Docs . Strong organizational and communication skills. A Food Handlers Card (manager certification preferred but not required) and a Responsible Beverage Server Certificate. A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to tackle any task.
