Job Summary We are seeking a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer who is confident, energetic, and passionate about sports medicine to provide athletic training outreach coverage for the St. Francis School District . This role includes opportunities for injury assessment, rehabilitation, and athletic performance enhancement , with the support of our multidisciplinary therapy team. Full-time employees are eligible for a sign-on bonus and additional benefits. Responsibilities Provide athletic training coverage for all interscholastic athletic events as outlined in the Athletic Training Program Coverage Policy Coverage of high school sports practices, games, and tournaments Design and implement injury prevention and conditioning programs Administer first aid and emergency medical care for acute injuries Evaluate, treat, and manage sports-related injuries Develop and supervise rehabilitation plans for injured athletes Maintain accurate electronic medical records for all athlete care Collaborate with team physicians , school nurses , and community healthcare providers Assist in marketing and community outreach efforts to promote our sports medicine services (Optional) Participate in outpatient physical therapy programs , including Work Conditioning and Work Hardening Qualifications BOC Certification required Minnesota State Athletic Training License (or eligibility for licensure) Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or related field Current BLS/First Aid Certification Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills Preferred Skills Experience in high school or collegiate athletic training Knowledge of sports injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance training Strong ability to build relationships with coaches, athletes, and healthcare professionals Benefits Sign-on bonus for full-time hires Competitive compensation (based on experience) Full-time or part-time scheduling options Supportive team environment across five clinic locations Professional development and continuing education opportunities Exposure to a wide range of sports medicine and orthopedic cases Schedule Flexible hours based on sports season coverage Includes weekday and weekend coverage for games and practices
