Service Plumber → Leak Detection Specialist

What We Offer Our trained technicians earn on average between $100k and $150k per year, with room above for top performers. Pay is base-hourly + performance bonus. Monday-Friday schedule. No on-call. No scheduled nights or weekends. Some jobs run long and you finish what you start, paid as overtime, but late nights aren't the norm. Duties Conduct thorough leak detections in residential and commercial settings using specialized equipment and techniques. Walk your customer through what you found, lay out their repair options clearly, and earn their approval on-site through honesty, quality options, and clear communication - not pressure.

Perform plumbing repairs:

direct-access, reroutes, fixture replacements, installations such as water heaters and water filtration systems, and repipes (with a team, not solo). Document inspection findings thoroughly, including detailed reports on leak locations, repairs performed, and system conditions. Maintain your assigned vehicle and equipment in working order, and proactively communicate with management when either needs attention or repair. Represent Leak Hounds professionally in every home and on the road: clean appearance, clear communication, respect for the customer's property. Requirements 3+ years of residential service and repair plumbing experience (Required) Strong working knowledge of residential plumbing systems and hands-on experience with reroutes, repipes, slab leak repairs, and gas line work Ability to diagnose plumbing problems systematically and explain them clearly to a customer Comfortable selling in the field: presenting repair options, answering questions, and closing the job Valid California driver's license and a clean, insurable driving record Able to work in tight spaces (attics, crawl spaces) and lift up to 100 lbs Able to pass a background check and drug screening Preferred Prior exposure to leak detection equipment or methodology How to apply: All applicants must complete our employment application here: https://forms.gle/nETj9DaHMCfiwvcRA.
