Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial analysis and governmental accounting, with a keen ability to analyze complex financial data. This role requires expertise in corporate accounting and financial management, as well as proficiency in financial software and understanding of GAAS (Generally Accepted Auditing Standards). The Audit Manager will be responsible for overseeing audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing risk effectively. Responsibilities Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring adherence to GAAS. Conduct thorough financial analysis and review of financial statements for accuracy and compliance. Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing guidance on best practices in auditing and financial management. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored auditing solutions. Analyze internal controls and risk management processes to identify areas for improvement. Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings and recommendations for clients. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA certification required. Proven experience in audit management or a similar role within public accounting Strong knowledge of financial concepts, governmental accounting principles, and corporate accounting practices. Proficiency in using financial software for data analysis and reporting. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
