Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, with the ability to work on various vehicle makes and models. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. The Auto Body Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service. Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening. Utilize MIG welding techniques for structural repairs and fabrication tasks. Conduct vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure all repairs meet safety standards. Use hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment for various repair task Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and auto glass installations. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines Handle heavy lifting as required during the repair process. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Previous dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in MIG welding, fabrication, and mechanical knowledge is essential. Experience with auto body repair techniques including sheet metal work, soldering, and automotive restoration is highly desirable. Familiarity with automotive repair processes, detailing, assembly, and auto painting is beneficial. • Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs.
