- Full-time Mynatt Truck and Equipment is looking to hire an Industrial Painter.
Primary responsibilities are:
Color match, tint, and mix paint to color codes and product specs appropriately Apply paint in prescribed manner utilizing provided painting equipment Inspect painted unit for quality of painting including runs, streaks, sags, and unpainted areas Maintain, repair, and clean painting equipment and painting booth Assemble and disassemble trucks to prepare for repair and refinishing Mask and protect panels and trim for paint process Mix primer according to specifications and apply thoroughly Removing previous paint surfaces and cleaning surfaces prior to layering paint. Safely disposing of chemical waste. Ensuring that high safety standards are met. Utilizing different painting techniques based on the nature of the surface. Using viscosity cups and thickness gauges to measure the amount of paint to be used and the texture of the paint. Painting small items and doing touch-ups. Ensuring proper ventilation during application and after the paint is applied.Benefits:

This position operates in an indoor shop environment with adequate ventilation. Employee is required to wear a paint respirator frequently. Tasks may involve working in high precarious areas. The Employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, chemicals, vibration, confined space, operating above ground, forklift operation, and lifting/carrying objects. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Moreover, painters will need to operate heavy machinery, requiring stamina and physical strength. Starting wages are dependent upon experience level. Pay range $18-24/hr.Industrial Painter Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Experience painting a variety of surface types. Proficiency with technical machinery. Physical strength to operate machinery. Diligence and attention to detail. Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Good organizational skills. Good verbal communication. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.Job Type:

$18.00- $24.
